Beavertail

This vest super-insulates your body core while allowing your arms freedom of movement. The Omnitherm outer layer is lined with an extra-thick hydrophobic pile, with a layer of thinsulate sandwiched between. The 3/4-length vest, with longer tail, prevents kidney chill and softens seating. The combination cargo/hand warmer pockets have built-in shell loops.

High Plains

The High Plains Vest is made of Omnitherm and is a reversible, double-layered wool vest with your choice of camo pattern on one side and hunter-orange on the other. Our roll over edging keeps all orange fabric from being seen when the camouflage side out is worn facing out. The vest features a built-in tag holder in the middle back area on the vest's orange side for states that require hunting tags to be displayed prominently. It also has horizontally-zippered chest pockets on each side for easy-access storage areas irregardless of what side is facing out, a stylish Western yolk and V neck, conveniently placed hand warmer pockets and a pull chord style zipped front. Used over an Omnitherm shirt, it provides significant added warmth and wind resistance with very little added bulk. It fits easily in any pack and comfortably under a Bowman Jacket.

Muleskinner

King of the Mountain customers know that an Omnilite or Omnitherm shirt with bunwarmer pants will suffice for almost any activity or weather condition. However, when conditions turn really nasty and you're bunkered off a ridge behind binoculars or you're riding to camp late, leading a pack mule with the monster bull you shot in no man's drainage, then a Muleskinner Vest is the perfect "something extra" to put over your Bushman, Trapper Pullover or Frontier Shirt. The Muleskinner Vest features 2 slit-style zippered hand warmer pockets and a fleece-lined collar designed for hunkering down into. The vest fits perfectly over all of our shirt styles but has cinches on the sides to "snug-up" if needed. The Muleskinner is also lined with Omnishield to break the wind and help contain your sent. Best of all it weighs less that 2 lbs. and packs easily, so its not too cumbersome to "take along for the ride, just in case."
